Omaha – On Tuesday, February 5th, Beau McCoy will hold an event officially kicking-off his campaign for the open seat in Legislative District 39.

The event will be held at the Pacific Springs G.C. club house from five p.m. until seven p.m. and will feature an appearance by Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman. Joining Governor Heineman as hosts for the event are Congressman Lee Terry, Attorney General Jon Bruning, Secretary of State John Gale, Treasurer Shane Osborn, Auditor Mike Foley, State Senator Chris Langemeier, other elected officials, community leaders and residents of LD 39.

Although this will be the official kick-off event, McCoy has already been out working in the district. To date, McCoy has already personally knocked on several hundred doors. On Saturday, January 26th, twenty-two volunteers joined Beau canvassing Elkhorn, hitting over one thousand homes.
